A PERSONAL MANIFESTO

10 REASONS FOR US TO WORK TOGETHER

  • Above all, I value one thing – growth. No matter what I’ve gone through, what I’m going through or what the future holds, I have found that believing in growth has brought meaning and purpose to my life. I understand that believing in growth can be challenging, especially when there is a history of trauma. Despite trauma, I have seen and been part of many stories which prove that a belief in growth can conquer all.

  • Through the many challenges I’ve faced, I’ve realised that I hold compassion as a vital value. Love and compassion can bring monumental change and unify us all as one. I believe a daily practice of gratitude, forgiveness and kindness is necessary to spread compassion.

  • I believe for us to come together as one we need openness. We need to take the time to understand the context of people’s behaviour and openness is an essential ingredient. Openness expands minds and creativity. We need creativity in our modern world.

  • The best things in my life have come through challenges. I fully expect to challenge myself every day to learn and gain experiences that speak to my soul. When I work with someone or an organisation, challenge is a pivotal part of the experience.

  • I believe every single one of us wants to realise their potential, not for ourselves, but to contribute to the world. If you or your organisation are interested in growing to contribute, then I’m sure we will work well together.

  • It was Hippocrates who said, “do no harm”. I don’t wish to cause harm, nor will I support anyone that causes harm to others.

  • To address problems at a causal level, an understanding of our mind and our thoughts is paramount. If you or your organisation are interested in harnessing the power of your thoughts, then I’m sure we will work well together.

  • As a coach, doctor and speaker I believe in the importance of learning from other industries. Some of the most significant breakthroughs in our world have come from people working outside of their industry. I love to work with people from a range of disciplines. Celebrating our uniqueness develops authenticity.

  • In the future, we need innovation and creation not merely dedication. I love working with people who think BIG. Exponential thinking looks at problems at a causal level - it questions ideas, perceptions and beliefs.

  • I am of Sri Lankan descent, born in the UK and studied in the Netherlands. At my school in the Netherlands there were 64 nationalities. This led me to value diversity. I believe working in diverse environments improves understanding and compassion.
